How Wet-Bulb Economizers Can Save Energy, Support Health Through Humidification

A wet-bulb economizer in temperate U.S. climates saves energy and supports occupant health through proper humidification by controlling the building supply dew-point temperature. More conventional variable air volume (VAV) designs typically select a dry-bulb economizer (DBE) to maintain building supply air temperatures for human comfort.
