1. Farewell Message from the Regional Chair:
Mr. Leong Cheng Wee concluded his 3-year term (2022–2025) as DRC, expressing heartfelt gratitude to all members and congratulating Ir. Ong Ching Loon as the incoming DRC for the next term.

2. 2025 Winter Conference in Orlando:
Region XIII achieved notable success at the event, including:

• Two members elevated to Fellow ASHRAE
• Engineering Excellence Award for the ELEMENTS project in Hong Kong
• Several other Technology Awards from Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan

3. CAR-ASHRAE at China Refrigeration Expo 2025:
The Region XIII delegation participated in technical seminars and exhibitions in Shanghai, presenting case studies on energy-saving strategies in Macau casinos.

4. 2nd Regional Planning Meeting (RPM) in the Philippines:
Strategic discussions were held among regional leaders, with workshops for incoming chapter presidents and networking activities.

5. 2025 Annual Conference in Phoenix:
Region XIII members continued to be recognized with awards including:

• Lincoln Bouillon Award (Membership growth)
• Best Paper Award (AI in energy control)
• Distinguished Service, 50-Year Member, and Holladay Distinguished Fellow Awards

6. Inauguration of the ASHRAE Vietnam Chapter:
The official chartering ceremony took place on June 6, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City—marking the realization of a long-term vision since 2019 and a major milestone for Vietnam in joining the global ASHRAE network.

7. Young Engineers in ASHRAE (YEA) Leadership Scholarships:
Two outstanding young members from Singapore and the Philippines were awarded scholarships to attend the YEA Leadership International program in India. This is the first year Region XIII launched its own leadership scholarship fund.

8. 2025 Technology Awards Highlights:
Region XIII received seven Society-level Technology Awards—the most of any region—along with multiple regional awards for projects in Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and Macao.

9. Outstanding PAOE Achievements:
All Region XIII chapters achieved 100% PAR in 2024–2025, showcasing exceptional performance in technical programs, training, and membership development.

10. Chapter Highlights:

• Hong Kong: Hosted multiple technical seminars, ASHRAE Night, student-YEA BBQ, and the highly successful BACnet Technical Conference with over 400 attendees.
• Taiwan: Organized data center seminars, HVAC tours of landmark buildings, and strong student engagement.
• Macao: Delivered seminars on next-generation HVAC technologies and sustainable building solutions with international expert speakers.
